Starring Beta Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to your use of Starring ("Starring", "we", "us"), an AI creative studio operated by [legal name or business name], [city], Alberta, Canada. By creating an account or using Starring, you agree to these terms. If you use Starring for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Starring is in early access (beta). That means:

• Features may change, pause or be removed as we improve the product.
• The service may sometimes be slow, unavailable or produce errors.
• We may end the beta at any time. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can so you can download your campaigns.
• Starring is provided "as is" during the beta, without guarantees of availability or results.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract where you live. Starring is designed for small businesses and creators promoting their own products.

• You must verify your email (or sign in with Google) before your free campaigns unlock.
• One person may hold one free beta account. Creating extra accounts to get more free campaigns isn't allowed.
• Keep your login details private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us right away at support@starring.ca if you think someone else has accessed your account.

• Each new account includes 2 free campaigns once your email is verified. We may add more free campaigns to your account at our discretion.
• Each free campaign includes up to 4 single image regenerations or model changes. Starting a new campaign, or reshooting a whole campaign, uses a new free campaign.
• Free campaigns have no cash value and can't be exchanged or carried over to future paid plans unless we say so in writing.
• Your finished campaigns stay in your Library after your free campaigns are used, so you can keep downloading and posting them.

• You own what you upload. Your product photos, logos, brand details and text ("Your Content") remain yours.
• Permission to process it. You give us a limited permission to store, process and send Your Content to our technology providers only to run Starring for you: to recognise your product, generate images, check Product Match, write captions and show your Library.
• You have the rights. You confirm you own or have permission to use everything you upload, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, including trademarks, logos, copyrights or another person's image.
• No people in uploads. Please upload product photos only. Don't upload photos of real people, especially children, unless you have their permission (or a parent's or guardian's permission for a child).

• Your campaigns are yours to use. Subject to these terms and the law, you may use the images, reels and text Starring creates for you ("Outputs") to promote your business, including on social media, your website and marketplaces.
• AI can make mistakes. Outputs may contain errors, including differences from your real product, incorrect details in captions, or unexpected results. Product Match scores and savings figures are automated estimates, not guarantees.
• Review before you post. You're responsible for checking every Output before you use it, and for making sure it accurately represents your product and complies with the law and each platform's rules. Regenerate any image you're not satisfied with.
• Virtual models are not real people. Starring's cast members are AI-generated virtual models. Don't present them as real customers, real reviewers, real employees or real endorsements of your product.
• Disclose AI where required. Some platforms and places require you to label AI-generated or digitally altered content. Follow those rules when you post.
• Outputs may be similar. Because AI generates content from patterns, other users may receive similar settings, poses or wording. We can't guarantee Outputs are unique.

Don't use Starring to:

• Upload or create anything illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, sexual or that sexualises anyone, or that targets or exploits children.
• Copy or imitate other brands' logos, trademarks, designs or products, or create counterfeit listings.
• Mislead customers, including showing features your product doesn't have or creating fake reviews or endorsements.
• Impersonate anyone or create images of real, identifiable people.
• Try to get around free campaign limits or security protections.
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload Starring, or access other users' data.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Starring uses trusted third-party providers to host the app and run AI features, including image generation and text writing. Your Content is shared with them only as needed to provide Starring. When you post Outputs on other platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest or Etsy), their own terms apply.

We'd love your feedback. You agree we can use your suggestions to improve Starring without owing you anything. We'll only publish your name, business, quote or campaigns as a testimonial or example with your clear permission.

• What we collect: your name, email and login details, your business details and brand settings, the product photos you upload, the campaigns Starring creates for you, and basic usage information (such as when you sign in and which features you use) to keep Starring secure and working.
• Why we use it: to run your account and campaigns, prevent misuse of free campaigns, keep the service secure, provide support and improve Starring.
• What we never do: sell your personal information, or show your product photos or campaigns to other users or in our marketing without your permission.
• Who can see it: your campaigns are private to your account. Our admin tools show usage counts, not your images. Our technology providers process data only to provide the service.
• Where it's stored: your data may be stored and processed outside Canada by our technology providers, who protect it under their own security and privacy commitments.
• Your choices: you can update your details anytime, download your campaigns, and delete your account and all its data from the Account page. To ask what information we hold about you, email support@starring.ca.

The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the prices in advance, and you'll only be charged if you choose to sign up for a paid plan.

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

• Starring is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or produce particular results.
• We aren't responsible for how you use Outputs, or for lost sales, profits, data or business opportunities arising from your use of Starring.
• Our total responsibility for any claim related to the beta is limited to CAD $100.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be limited.

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you uploaded, how you used Outputs, or your breaking these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs related to that claim, to the extent allowed by law.

You can delete your account anytime from the Account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Starring or other users at risk. If the beta ends, we'll try to give you time to download your campaigns first.

We may update these terms as Starring grows. If changes are significant, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Starring after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
